About Jamie

Jamie is a partner at TDS in Winnipeg, practising civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance-related matters. He is an active trial lawyer with experience in complex matters before trial and appellate courts, and his practice includes a significant focus on regulatory and workplace safety and health issues. Jamie also serves as general legal counsel to several First Nations communities on complex legal and governmental matters. He earned his LL.B. from the University of Manitoba in 1989, was called to the Manitoba bar in 1990, and was included in the 2022 edition of Best Lawyers in Canada for Corporate and Commercial Litigation. His services are provided through L. Kagan Law Corporation.
