About James

James Carpino is a partner with Desmarais, Keenan LLP who has practised family law since their call to the Ontario Bar in 2017. James regularly appears before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice on family law matters including separation agreements, divorce, child and spousal support, business valuations, pension division, and property division. James also practises in real estate and employment law, including commercial and real estate litigation and human rights matters. James earned an H.B.A. from Laurentian University in 2014 and their law degree from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University in 2017, and James serves as vice-president of Collaborative Divorce Sudbury and of the Sudbury and District Law Association.
