About Brandy
Brandy Charsley is an associate lawyer with Desmarais, Keenan LLP who has practised exclusively in family law since their call to the Ontario Bar in June 2024. Brandy handles matters involving decision-making responsibility, parenting time, child and spousal support, and property division, and approaches their work with empathy given the stress family law disputes can bring. Brandy earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-operative) from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2020 and their Juris Doctor from the University of New Brunswick in 2023. During law school Brandy founded the Disability and Chronic Illness Association and was a member of the Feminist Society, and Brandy now serves as Secretary of the Sudbury District Law Association.
