About Joshua
Joshua Saghie is a lawyer at Talbot Law, called to the Ontario Bar in 2024, practising in family law and criminal law. Born in the United States and raised partly in Jamaica, he has Jamaican and Lebanese heritage. He earned his law degree from the University of York in the United Kingdom, specializing in corporate and commercial law, before shifting his focus to family and criminal law in Ontario. Before his legal career, he worked in management consulting, leading innovation and process improvement initiatives in the oil and gas and fintech industries. He has also served as a board member of a non-profit organization and focuses part of his practice on advancing access to justice through limited scope retainers.
