About J.
J. David Innes is an associate with Desmarais, Keenan LLP practising in real estate law, wills, estate administration, and powers of attorney. J earned their LL.B. from Osgoode Hall in 1960 after a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University in 1956, and J is a retired Deputy Small Claims Court Judge. J has been deeply involved with Sudbury's hospital community, serving on the Board of Governors of Sudbury Memorial Hospital from 1970 to 1998 and chairing it from 1973 to 1976, and J has also served on the boards of the Ontario Hospital Association and the Canadian Hospital Association Foundation. J has spoken locally on wills and powers of attorney and has hosted a program on Laurentian University's CKLU radio station since 2004.
