About James

James Parker has significant experience in civil litigation and arbitration, with a focus on complex real estate disputes, and has acted as trial and appellate counsel in matters involving trusts, property development, foreign judgment enforcement, professional negligence, and employment law. He clerked for Justices Garson and Fitch at the BC Court of Appeal before joining NST. Parker was called to the British Columbia bar in 2018 and holds a J.D. from the University of Victoria, a certificate from Georgetown Law's Center for Transnational Legal Studies, a Master of Theological Studies from Regent College, and a B.A. from the University of Southern California. He has been recognized as a Future Star by Benchmark Litigation. He takes on pro bono work through Access Pro Bono's Court of Appeal Roster Program and previously served as a board member of the JustWork Economic Initiative.
