About Alysha

Alysha Pannu is an associate in Osler's Competition/Antitrust, Foreign Investment, and International Trade Group, focusing on competition and foreign investment matters. She advises clients on all aspects of competition law, including merger review, abuse of dominance, and compliance, and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada as one to watch for competition and antitrust law. Pannu has worked on complex, high-profile merger transactions and advises clients on potentially anti-competitive practices and marketing and advertising law matters. In her foreign investment review practice, she advises on national security, net benefit, and cultural sector reviews under the Investment Canada Act. Before joining Osler, Pannu worked in the competition and foreign investment group of another Canadian law firm and at the Mergers Directorate of the Canadian Competition Bureau, where she reviewed high-profile mergers. She holds leadership roles in the Canadian Bar Association and the American Bar Association, including as vice-chair of committees within both organizations.
