About Jaikaran

Jaikaran Goraya is an associate in Thomson Rogers' Planning, Expropriation, and Municipal Law group. Before joining as an associate, he articled at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, gaining exposure to municipal and planning issues. Jaikaran earned his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2023. While there, he took part in Osgoode's First Generation Network as well as the Law in Action Within Schools program, and served as an Administrative Law Division Leader with the Clinical and Legal Aid Services Program, representing clients before Ontario tribunals. Before articling, he spent a summer working in-house at a large Toronto hospital. Outside of work, Jaikaran enjoys spoiling his adopted tabby cat, following sports, watching TV and movies, and spending time with friends and family.
