About Jennifer

Jennifer Corbett practises employment law in Ontario as a Senior Associate on Samfiru Tumarkin's Labour and Employment team, splitting her time between the firm's Toronto and Ottawa offices. She advises both employees and employers on wrongful and constructive dismissal, severance negotiations, workplace harassment and discrimination, human rights, and employment contracts. Before joining the firm, she articled and spent over two years as a commercial litigator at a downtown Toronto firm, building broad litigation experience. She has stood before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on numerous occasions and has also appeared before the Social Benefits Tribunal, with experience in both arbitration and trial settings. Jennifer earned her JD cum laude from the University of Ottawa and a BA with honours from the University of Western Ontario, majoring in psychology and criminology, and won gold medal academic awards for graduating at the top of her class in both subjects.
