Jaidin Wale

About Jaidin

Jaidin Wale is a member of the Gitanmaax Band of the Gitxsan Nation who has lived in three Canadian provinces and traveled extensively. Her practice areas include consultation and accommodation, employment and human rights, First Nation constitutions, laws and policy, governance support, Indigenous legal orders and law, and treaty negotiation and implementation, drawing on experience supporting individuals and organizations with capacity development across legal clinics, government agencies, and consulting firms in Indigenous justice, human resources, education, and administrative services. She holds a BA in political science from the University of Victoria (2012), a master's degree in international human resources management from the Université de Rennes IGR IAE School of Management (2016), and a Juris Doctor with a specialization in Aboriginal law from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC (2022). She speaks French, with DALF C1 proficiency, and joined Woodward & Company as a lawyer in 2024, being called to the Law Society of British Columbia that year and the Law Society of Yukon in 2026. Outside work, she plays for the Gitksan Women's basketball team.
