About Jack

Jack M. Blackier is a partner in Cox & Palmer's Saint John office. He was called to the New Brunswick bar in 1997 after completing his education at the University of New Brunswick, and previously practised with the firm Barry Spalding. His practice covers tax, estate planning, commercial litigation, administrative law and insurance law, and he draws on a background as a chartered accountant with forensic and investigative accounting expertise. Jack represents individual and corporate taxpayers in disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency and before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Provincial Court of New Brunswick. He also holds a part-time faculty appointment at the University of New Brunswick's Faculty of Business Administration and at Mount Allison University's Commerce Faculty. Born in Minto, New Brunswick, Jack earned an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2013.
