About Ian

Ian is a partner in Halifax practising in natural resources development, with particular focus on mineral exploration, mine development, and mining law, along with a strong real estate practice. He has advised clients on land assembly, permitting, environmental assessment, and indigenous consultation for mining projects, as well as pipeline real property matters and large residential and commercial developments. His work also covers commercial leasing and financing for a range of property types. Ian earned his LLB from the University of New Brunswick in 2002 and a BSc from St. Francis Xavier University in 1996, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2003 and the New Brunswick bar in 2004.
