About Holly

Holly McEwan joined Nugent Law Office in 2019 as an articling student and continued with the firm as a lawyer after being called to the Alberta bar in 2020. She practices employment and labour law with a particular interest in Charter litigation, and has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta as well as the Alberta Labour Relations Board and various labour arbitrators. McEwan attended law school at the University of Alberta, where she won the Clinton J Ford Shield in a constitutional law moot, and earned an undergraduate degree with distinction in Political Science and English there as well. She volunteers with the Civil Division of Student Legal Services and provides pro bono legal services through the Edmonton Community Legal Centre.
