About Carmen

Carmen Plante is counsel with Bishop & McKenzie in Edmonton, with a broad commercial litigation practice covering breach of contract, employment law, shareholders' rights and obligations, personal injury, and construction law, mostly for Alberta-based entrepreneurs. She has appeared at all levels of court in Alberta and is a former instructor for the Alberta Bar Admission Course. Carmen has lived and worked in Japan and Central America and volunteers for several non-governmental organizations. She holds a BComm and an LLB, both with distinction from the University of Alberta, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 1996.
