About Stephanie

Stephanie Chau is a partner with a diverse litigation practice, appearing frequently in the Court of King's Bench across Alberta. Her work centres on debt recovery and realization for financial institutions and private lenders, along with contractual disputes, complex fraud litigation, shareholder disputes and negligence claims. She also represents landowners, tenants and mortgagees in expropriation matters and handles condominium governance and litigation, and her employment law practice covers wrongful dismissal claims and human rights complaints for both employers and employees. Stephanie earned her LLB with Distinction (Gold Medalist) from the University of Alberta in 2007 and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2008. She serves as Co-Chair of the CBA's Civil Litigation subsection and is the CBA Alberta North Section Coordinator. Outside the office, she enjoys dancing, yoga, skiing and travelling with her family.
