About Mary

Mary focuses her practice primarily on labour and employment, education law and professional regulatory law, regularly representing clients in civil proceedings, human rights tribunals, professional discipline hearings, labour arbitrations and administrative tribunals. In her labour and employment work, she advises employers on wrongful dismissal, human rights, professional disciplinary, freedom of information and privacy, and labour arbitration matters, and she is also experienced in workplace investigation; she also counsels school boards, teacher leaders, professional organizations and individual professionals. Mary earned a Juris Doctor with Distinction and a Bachelor of Education with Distinction, both from the University of Alberta, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2023. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers.
