About Hisako
Hisako Takahashi was born in Japan and immigrated to Kamloops in 1993. She completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at Thompson Rivers University in 2009 and a Master of International Business in Sydney, Australia, in 2010, and worked at the Embassy of Canada to Japan in Tokyo and for an oil and gas company in Calgary before law school. She earned her JD from Thompson Rivers University in 2018 and was called to the bar in 2019, joining Cates Ford Soll & Epp in July 2022. She practises as a solicitor in wills and estates, real estate, and business law, and is looking to expand into employment law. Hisako is proficient in Japanese and volunteers with the Kamloops Japanese Canadian Association.
