Christopher Soll grew up in Kamloops from the age of seven and has deep ties to the community. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University College of the Cariboo, now Thompson Rivers University, in 2004, followed by his Bachelor of Laws in 2007, and was called to the bar in 2008. He was accredited by the Law Society of British Columbia as a family law mediator in 2013. Christopher has practised in Kamloops throughout his career, first as an associate and then a partner alongside his father, Stephen Soll, before becoming a partner at Cates Ford Soll & Epp. His practice centres on family law, estate planning, and criminal law, with experience arguing at all levels of court in British Columbia. He belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Trial Lawyers Association of B.C., and the Kamloops Collaborative Family Law Association.
