About Jessica

Jessica Vliegenthart practises workplace investigations and sport law, and maintains a selective personal injury practice for clients with catastrophic injuries including spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries. A certified workplace investigator, she handles harassment, discrimination, and misconduct investigations, conflict resolution and mediation, and policy and governance compliance work for employers, organizations, athletes, and institutions across Canada. She is Legal Commissioner for the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation and sits on the board of the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada. A former Team Canada athlete, she has completed mediation and conflict management training at Harvard Law School and a leadership and inclusion certificate from Centennial College.
