About Scott

Scott Ellis has a general solicitor practice focused primarily on real estate, wills and estates, and corporate and commercial matters, serving clients from MJB's Kamloops office and a branch office in Lillooet. He grew up in Vancouver and graduated from the University of Victoria with a BA in 2002, then pursued a career in aviation, earning his Commercial Pilot's Licence before joining the Royal Canadian Air Force as a pilot in 2006. Scott moved to Kamloops in 2011 to study law at Thompson Rivers University, graduating in the school's first graduating class in 2014. He joined MJB Lawyers as an articling student in 2014, was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2015, and became a partner in July 2023. He is a board member of the Cariboo Child Care Society.
