About Hina
Hina is a partner in Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti's Hamilton office, practicing across employment, labour, and human rights law with a particular focus on employment litigation. Before joining the firm in 2017, she practiced civil litigation at a boutique firm in Hamilton. She represents employers in wrongful dismissal and human rights disputes, appearing before Ontario's Superior Court of Justice and the province's Human Rights Tribunal, and conducts workplace investigations into harassment, discrimination, and toxic work environment complaints. Hina has volunteered with several organizations, including the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund and Big Brothers Big Sisters, and she earlier chaired the Hamilton Community Legal Clinic's board of directors. She holds a JD from the University of Windsor and a combined honours degree in Religious Studies from McMaster University, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2014.
