About Heela

Heela Selemankhel is an associate practising litigation with a focus on employment matters and commercial disputes. Her employment practice serves both employees and employers on wrongful dismissal, human rights issues, workplace conflicts and terminations, and she also handles commercial disputes such as shareholder conflicts and contractual matters, as well as civil litigation involving property and landlord-tenant issues. She takes a direct and strategic approach, grounded in a careful assessment of each case. Heela holds a JD from the University of Alberta (2023) and a BA from the University of Calgary.
