About Kim
Kim Nutz is senior employment counsel at West Legal, admitted to the Alberta bar in 2000 and practicing employment and labour law for over 26 years. She practiced for six years at the national firm Gowlings before spending ten years in private practice working exclusively in employment, occupational health and safety, and labour law, including a period with the City of Calgary's Fire Department. Since joining West Legal in early 2020 she has represented both employees and employers in wrongful dismissal, severance, and human rights matters, and she also serves as the firm's Director of Human Resources and Articling and Summer Student Coordinator.
