About Heather

Heather MacDonald practices corporate commercial, real estate and estate planning law at Burchell MacDougall's Stellarton office, including advising clients in the fishing industry on buying, selling, restructuring and financing fishing enterprises. She has been a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society and the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador since 2003, and completed CPA Canada's In-Depth Tax Course in 2019. She was recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada 2026 for Corporate Law.
