About Haritha
Haritha Popuri is an associate at OKT who joined the firm after completing her articles as a judicial law clerk for the Superior Court of Justice and the Divisional Court in Ontario, where she supported judges with research and editing on trial-level and appellate matters focused on administrative law. She earned her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she took part in the Anishinaabe Law Camp in Neyaashiinigmiing and competed in the Kawaskimhon Aboriginal Law Moot, and spent her summers at Indigenous Affairs Ontario and Ecojustice Canada exploring the overlap between environmental and Indigenous rights. Before law school, she worked in Ottawa as a parliamentary research assistant, contributing to legislation on Indigenous child and family services and Indigenous languages. She also holds a combined honours B.A. in History of Science & Technology and Religious Studies from the University of King's College and an M.A. in Theatre & Performance Studies from York University.
