About Mary
Mary Athanasopoulos is an associate in Torkin Manes' Labour & Employment Group, advising employers on employment standards, labour relations, wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, occupational health and safety, grievance arbitrations, human rights complaints, and proceedings before the Labour Relations Board. She acts for employers in both the provincial and federal sectors, in unionized and non-unionized workplaces. Before joining the firm as an associate, Mary was seconded to the Ontario Labour Relations Board, where she gained familiarity with its processes. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2023 and holds a JD from Queen's University and a BA from the University of Toronto.
