About Gregory

Greg Tallon practices in business law, with particular experience in mergers and acquisitions, real estate leasing and development, secured transactions and franchising. He has been repeatedly recognized as a Leading Lawyer in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory since 2008 in areas including corporate commercial, corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and property development, and Best Lawyers in Canada has recognized him in corporate law, franchise law, and mergers and acquisitions law, naming him Winnipeg's Mergers and Acquisitions Lawyer of the Year multiple times. Greg earned his B.A. from the University of Winnipeg in 1974 and his LL.B. from the University of Manitoba in 1977, and was called to the Manitoba bar in 1978. He has been active in the community as past chair of CancerCare Manitoba and a former director of Winnipeg Habitat for Humanity, and has taught at the Manitoba Bar Admission Course and chaired the National Business Law Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association.
