About Greg
Greg Vanstone is Senior Counsel at Lidstone & Company and has devoted most of his 37-year legal career to representing local governments and school boards. After being called to the bar in 1984, he practised with Thompson & McConnell, one of the first boutique municipal law firms in British Columbia, until 2002, then spent 18 years as City Solicitor for the City of Delta. At Lidstone & Company he focuses on real property, land use and development files, and drafting and reviewing legal opinions, and mentors junior lawyers. His experience covers land use regulation, real estate development, expropriation, land acquisition and disposition, procurement, taxation, governance, claims, risk management, and bylaw drafting and interpretation.
