About Grant

Grant Szelewicki's practice focuses on a variety of areas with an emphasis on construction disputes, drawing on both legal and engineering backgrounds to navigate complex technical issues. Before joining JSS Barristers in 2026, he practised with a national and a regional law firm in Calgary and completed an in-house secondment with Shell Canada. Grant earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta, where he received the Rhonda Zacharias Memorial Award, and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering through the university's co-op program, working with PCL, Ledcor, and EllisDon on construction projects across Western Canada. He was called to the Alberta bar in 2023 and volunteers as a coach with Special Olympics Bowling.
