About Gordon

Gordon Chan is a partner in Loopstra Nixon's Corporate and Commercial practice group, advising on mergers and acquisitions, bank and secured financing, real estate transactions, and general corporate matters. He has represented chartered banks in financings exceeding $12 million and acted as lead counsel for a purchaser in an M&A transaction in Atlantic Canada. Gordon mentors students as a Business Law Practicum Mentor at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law and serves as a teaching team member at Osgoode Hall Law School, where he coaches students through mock negotiations. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) from the University of Toronto and a J.D. from the University of Western Ontario's Faculty of Law. He was called to the bar of Ontario in 2020 and admitted to the New York State Bar in 2023.
