About Gil
Gil Fischler is a partner at Unified LLP and leads the firm's Employment Law and Labour Group, serving clients throughout Ontario. His practice is devoted entirely to representing employees in disputes such as wrongful and constructive dismissal, shareholder and oppression actions, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, employment standards issues like unpaid wages and overtime, and human rights matters including accommodation obligations. He aims to give clients pragmatic, empathetic advice, drawing on his experience to navigate the vulnerability employees often face in relation to their employers. Fischler has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, Small Claims Court, the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Human Rights Tribunal. Before co-founding Unified LLP, he was a partner at Shillers LLP, a boutique firm in downtown Toronto.
