About Georgia
Georgia is an associate whose practice centers on competition law and foreign investment review. She counsels clients on Canadian competition law issues arising from complex mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances governed by the Competition Act, and also advises on potential anti-competitive conduct and compliance under that statute. Before joining the firm, she worked in class action litigation, concentrating on price-fixing, consumer protection, and securities cases. While earning her law degree, she took on a Team Lead role with Western's Community Legal Services and helped her team reach the round of eight worldwide at the 2021-2022 Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition. Before law school, she built experience in the technology and talent industries, working for an international cybersecurity firm and a professional recruitment consultancy.
