About Geoffrey
Hunnisett handles corporate-commercial litigation and arbitration matters, with particular focus on domestic and international commercial arbitrations, class actions, construction and infrastructure disputes, tax litigation and franchise litigation. He has tried lengthy, complex cases and handled numerous high-value arbitrations, both domestic and international, and appears regularly on motions and appeals in Ontario and federal courts. Beyond contested hearings, he advises clients on assessing litigation risk to help them avoid disputes altogether, and has spent time seconded to the legal teams at the Bank of Nova Scotia and General Motors of Canada. Hunnisett holds a law degree from Osgoode Hall and an arts degree from the University of Guelph.
