About Brenda

Brenda Chandler is Of Counsel with more than 20 years of experience as a corporate-commercial lawyer, working both in private practice and as in-house counsel for companies including Bull, Housser & Tupper, RBC, BHP Billiton, Corix Group and CHC Helicopter. She has advised across the technology, mining, aviation, banking and forestry sectors on day-to-day operational agreements such as software licensing, subscription, master services, supplier and reseller contracts, as well as confidentiality and data protection terms. Her work also covers corporate policy development, business alliance agreements, asset acquisitions and divestitures, and letters of intent. Brenda holds an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa, a master's degree from Carleton University, and a bachelor's degree with honours from the University of Regina. She is known for translating complex legal concepts into clear, practical guidance and for her strong drafting and negotiation skills.
