About Geoffrey
Geoff Breen is a Partner in Cox & Palmer's Halifax office, working with businesses on employment and labour issues and commercial disputes, from compliance gaps and human resources matters to transactions, reorganizations, litigation, arbitration and regulatory proceedings. He graduated from the Dalhousie Schulich School of Law in 2010 and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2011, where he practised employment and labour law and commercial litigation at a full-service Toronto firm before joining Cox & Palmer in 2016 and being called to the Nova Scotia Bar. He has appeared before various courts and tribunals throughout Nova Scotia and Ontario, and has completed the Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop and a Certificate in Mining Law through Osgoode Hall Law School. He also holds a graduate diploma in Biotechnology and Genomics from Concordia University and a BSc in Biology from St. Francis Xavier University.
