About Geneviève

Geneviève Boulay is an associate at Maurice Law, where she helps First Nation clients advance rights and legal claims against the Crown, working through litigation, negotiation, and advisory strategy. Her focus areas are Specific Claims and appellate advocacy, and she has appeared in matters before the Supreme Court of Canada. Before joining the firm in 2022, she spent five years at a boutique Aboriginal law firm in Ottawa, and separately has nearly a decade of experience with organizations advancing the rights of equality-seeking groups; she now chairs the New Brunswick Aboriginal Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association. Boulay grew up in Montreal and northern New Brunswick and is bilingual in English and French.
