About Gavin
Gavin Price joined JSS Barristers in 2003 and served on the firm's Executive Committee from 2015 to early 2022, including as Managing Partner from 2018 to 2020 and Firm Chair from 2020 to early 2022. His practice focuses on professional negligence claims, corporate and commercial litigation, and class actions, and he has represented lawyers in more than 60 negligence claims along with defendant professionals in regulatory matters. Gavin has appeared before the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Appeal, the British Columbia Supreme Court, and the Alberta Securities Commission. He earned his BSc in Zoology from the University of Calgary in 1997 and his LLB from the same school in 2001, clerking at the Court of Appeal and Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta before articling in securities and regulatory matters. Called to the Alberta bar in 2002, he has been named a Litigation Star by Benchmark Litigation and recognized by Best Lawyers for Class Action and Corporate and Commercial Litigation.
