As one of several firms on the legal team, Faithe also advised Infrastructure Ontario and the province on structuring and running the procurement meant to choose both the vendor and the nuclear technology for the province's planned new nuclear build.
Commercial real estate
Faithe's property work includes buying and selling downtown Toronto office buildings for a European pension fund and handling Crown property purchases and sales for an Ontario Crown corporation. Another file saw Faithe act for a real estate limited partnership as it bought, financed and later sold apartment complexes and seniors' homes in several parts of Canada.
Construction contracts
For a government owner, Faithe drafted and negotiated a CCDC standard form construction contract; for a trade union, a construction management agreement. A private U.S. construction company also brought its standard contracts to Faithe to have them adapted for Canada.
