About Nancy
Nancy Thompson joined Mills & Mills LLP as a LegalShield Associate in 2022 and brings over 17 years of experience to the role. Before coming to the firm she spent more than a decade as Legal Counsel with the Children's Aid Society of Toronto, then ran her own practice offering advice and court representation to parents, adoptive parents, grandparents and caregivers. She studied Political Science and History at McMaster University before earning her law degree at the University of Windsor in 1998 and was called to the bar in 2000. She spent over a decade volunteering with the Out of the Cold homeless dinner program.
