About Fabiana

Fabiana da Costa is an associate in the firm's Banking & Financial Services Group, where she handles insolvency, enforcement, and recovery matters for financial institutions and other lenders. Before joining Chaitons, she practiced at a boutique Toronto firm representing major Canadian banks in debt collection and mortgage enforcement proceedings. She also brings commercial litigation experience from Brazil, including a clerkship at the Brazilian Superior Court, which has shaped her detail-oriented approach to complex disputes. Fabiana holds a Master of Laws (GPLLM) from the University of Toronto and an LL.M. in Tax Law from FGV in Brazil.
