About Evan
Evan Lay articled at Preszler Law and now works as an associate lawyer in the firm's BC office, having been called to the BC bar in November 2020. He completed a B.A. in History at Mount Allison University before earning his JD from Dalhousie University in 2019. He regularly appears before the BC Supreme Court on both chambers applications and trials, and his practice focuses on personal injury claims, motor vehicle accidents, long-term disability claims and slip and fall cases. In law school he concentrated on litigation and courtroom advocacy, and worked with the Dalhousie Legal Aid Society representing low-income clients in criminal defence, administrative law and family law matters, appearing before the Nova Scotia Provincial Court, Nova Scotia Supreme Court and various tribunals as a student. He is licensed to practise in British Columbia and Manitoba.
