About Evan

Evan Jovanovic joined JSS Barristers as an Associate in 2025 after articling with and practicing at a mid-sized Alberta law firm. He maintains a general civil litigation practice and has represented clients at all levels of court in Alberta. Originally from Whitehorse, Yukon, Evan completed both his undergraduate studies and law degree at the University of Calgary, where he volunteered as a case worker with Student Legal Assistance, providing legal information in criminal, civil, and family law matters for low-income populations. He was called to the Alberta bar in 2023 and volunteers with the Court of King's Bench Amicus program and the Civil Claims Duty Counsel program.
