About Evan

Evan J. Green is Canadian Managing Partner at Green and Spiegel and holds a Law Society of Ontario certification as a specialist in immigration and citizenship law. Called to the bar in both Canada and the United States, he has practiced federal immigration law in both countries for more than 30 years and manages the firm's U.S. practice across its Toronto and American offices. Evan's work centers on cross-border matters as well as Canadian business immigration, including corporate employee transfers, federal skilled worker and investor applications, work permits, and the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, along with USMCA and CETA permits. He is a longtime member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has held several executive positions with its Canadian Chapter, including President. Evan holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa, earned cum laude, and is regularly quoted by Canadian media outlets on immigration issues.
