About Erin
Erin J. Baker practices civil litigation with an emphasis on employment law, power and regulatory disputes, construction disputes, and professional negligence claims, and regularly acts for the Alberta Lawyers Indemnity Association in professional negligence defence. She has appeared at the Provincial and Superior Court levels in Alberta and British Columbia, including the Alberta Court of Appeal, and has experience in large, document intensive domestic and international arbitrations and mediations. In her employment practice, she advises both employees and employers on severance packages, wrongful dismissal, and constructive dismissal matters. Erin earned her BA with distinction from the University of Victoria in 2004 and her LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 2007, and was called to the bar in British Columbia and Alberta in 2008. She has been recognized as a Litigation Star by Benchmark Litigation and named to its Top 40 & Under Hot List.
