About J.

J. Daniel Song is the managing lawyer and founder of Song Law Office, which he established in Calgary in 2015. He is an active member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Law Society of British Columbia, and the Law Society of Saskatchewan, and his practice centres on commercial financing for banks, credit unions, and private lenders, along with commercial and residential real estate transactions. Daniel also advises on corporate reorganizations, amalgamations, acquisitions, commercial leasing, and other contractual matters, and practices wills and estates and Canadian immigration law. He is fluent in English, Korean, and Mandarin. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts from Kookmin University in South Korea (1992), a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Finance from the University of Windsor (2000), a Bachelor of Laws from Cardiff University in the UK (2010), and a Juris Doctor from the University of New Brunswick (2013).
