About Emily

Emily La Mantia is a partner who advises employers on labour, employment, and human rights issues, with particular expertise in complex human rights matters, wrongful dismissal litigation, and grievance arbitrations. She helps employers navigate workplace accommodation issues and leads training on violence, harassment, and accommodation in the workplace. Emily regularly represents clients before Ontario courts and tribunals, including the Ontario Court of Justice, the Labour Relations Board, and the Human Rights Tribunal. She is a member of the Teaching Team for the Lawyer as Negotiator course at Osgoode Hall Law School. Emily earned an Honours Bachelor of Science with High Distinction from the University of Toronto in 2015 and a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2018, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2019.
