About Elmer

Elmer Gomes is a partner at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP whose practice covers corporate, commercial, and real property law, including commercial real estate conveyancing, financing, leasing, development, and mergers and acquisitions. He also assists clients with technology and intellectual property matters, including licensing and protection. Gomes earned his Bachelor of Laws (1999) and an earlier Bachelor of Science in zoology and chemistry (1996), both from the University of Manitoba, and was called to the Manitoba bar in 2000. He has been recognized as a Lexpert Rising Star and repeatedly recommended in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for banking and financial institutions.
