About Rebecca

Rebecca Penner is an associate at MLT Aikins LLP in Winnipeg, practising corporate and commercial law. She earned her J.D. from the University of Manitoba in 2024, where she worked as a student clinician providing pro bono services through the L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic and the Manitoba Legal Clinic for the Arts, and placed second in the Robson Hall Negotiation Competition. Penner holds a Bachelor of Commerce with dean's honours from the University of Manitoba's Asper School of Business, where she majored in international business and human resource management. She chaired the Manitoba Law Students' Association and served as president of the university's Business Law Group during the 2023-24 academic year.
