About Elaine
Elaine Selensky is a civil litigator focused on family and estate litigation, with additional experience in labour and employment, debtor/creditor, and municipal law. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, she attended the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan, where she volunteered at pro bono law clinics and competed on the Mediation Advocacy Moot team. She articled with the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan and was called to the bar there in 2021, then called to the British Columbia bar in 2023. In her family practice she assists clients with parenting, support, and property division, and in her estate litigation practice she handles wills variation claims, will validity disputes, and power of attorney matters. She holds a Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Regina.
