About Sonja
Sonja became part of the Bisceglia & Associates team, working alongside Emilio Bisceglia and Fernando Souza, in 2002, having previously articled and practiced at a boutique downtown firm. Her practice centers on civil litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants across a range of industries, and she appears regularly before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice on provincial offence matters. She has also argued before the Divisional Court and, as co-counsel, the Court of Appeal, along with the Landlord and Tenant Board and other tribunals. Her notable matters include Country Wide Homes v. Ge and 1605041 Ontario Limited v. 2424033 Ontario Ltd. Sonja emphasizes listening closely to clients and tailoring her approach to what they hope to achieve, rather than pursuing litigation for its own sake.
